In 2008, JPIC relocated to new state of the art facilities in Mawson. Students now have the opportunity to receive practical, face to face instruction in a commercial kitchen facility. Combined with theoretical learnig, this allows students the ultimate commercial cookery education in the real environment.
The new facility also allows for more students to attend classes in an improved environment, specially built. The student break out area, with tea & coffee, discussion and relaxation areas is an example of how the new facility can improve students lives. Socialising with other students is particularly important to most international students, and the new world class facilities provide an enjoyable environment for students to meet each other in between classes.
